Introducing some of the staff at Holy Cross
At Holy Cross we have a unit of 45 children with 2 class teachers.
Mrs Shaw is the EYFS Lead and teacher, she is also the oracy and Key Stage 1 lead for the school. Miss Heaton is the EYFS teacher and geography lead for the school. Miss Blackmore is our wonderful teaching assistant who is with us full time and Mrs Jarvis is in our class every Wednesday afternoon.

Some of the super learning at Holy Cross so far this year...
At Holy Cross our EYFS experience is magical. We aim to create a fun and exciting learning environment where high quality first teaching is at the forefront of everything we do. Our staff are dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for all our children. Our children are happy, engaged and independent learners.
Please look at our Foundation 2020 page for more information about the transition into school from this year.
Parent Partnership

At Holy Cross we aim to support all children to become independent and collaborative learners. We provide a broad and balanced curriculum to inspire children through an imaginative and immersive approach, ensuring that the children are happy and enthusiastic to learn. We foster and nurture the children’s interests and curiosities by giving them a strong foundation for their future learning. We believe Parents play a vital role in education. When parents are engaged and involved, everyone benefits – students, parents, families, teachers, schools and communities – and our school is enriched as a positive place to teach, learn and grow. Our school Mission Statement plays an important part in our hope and expectations for the children in the Foundation Stage.

“Act Justly, Love Tenderly, Walk Humbly with your God." (Micah 6)
