Reception - September 2020 Mrs Shaw and Miss Heaton

Welcome to Reception at Holy Cross Catholic Primary School

A very warm welcome to our school. We are really excited about working with you and your child through out the year and cannot wait to show you all of the exciting things Foundation have been up to.

At Holy Cross our EYFS experience is magical. We aim to create a fun and exciting learning environment where high quality first teaching is at the forefront of everything we do. Our staff are dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for all our children. Our children are happy, engaged and independent learners.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the children will be invited into school, via the 'EYFS Gate', at 8:45am and will leave via the same door at the end of the day at 2:50pm (Please note, due to social distancing and COVID-19 prevention, we will not be able to let parents and carers into school).

If you have any questions/queries please do not hesitate to; call the school office, send a message via Class Dojo or wait at the end of the school day in a socially distant manner.

At Holy Cross we have a unit of 45 children with 2 class teachers.
Mrs Shaw is the EYFS Lead and teacher, she is also the oracy and Key Stage 1 lead for the school. Miss Heaton is the EYFS teacher and geography lead for the school. Miss Blackmore is our wonderful teaching assistant who is with us full time and Mrs Jarvis is in our class every Wednesday afternoon.
Let's take a tour around your new classroom...
