Sports Galleries

We pride ourselves in the range of activities children have access to here. Take a look at some of the things we've been up to!
Year 1 - Balanceability
Year 1 enjoyed taking part in a week long 'Balanceability' course, an accredited learn to cycle programme. It is designed to help children to gain the confidence and skills required to ride a bike independently.
PE lessons with Plymouth University.
All of the children are currently working with the student teachers at Plymouth University. Have a look at the pictures to see what we have been getting up to!

 Year 6 Hockey Tournament.

Congratulations to the Year 6 Hockey Team! They managed to come second in their pool games and 5th place overall, winning themselves silver medals. The children won 2 games, drew 1 and lost 1, an amazing achievement. Well done to all our players!

Key Stage 1 Multiskills Festival.
Well done to all of the Year 1 and Year 2 children who represented the school at the Key Stage 1 Multiskills Festival. Can you see what skills the children are developing?
Tag Rugby Club, part of the Albion Links Programme.
Every Monday, our Tag Rugby Club get to develop their skills at our MUGA in Beaumont Park. We are very lucky to be supported by Dan and Jake, two players from our local rugby team, Plymouth Albion. Keep checking our Sports Zone for club news.

Indoor Athletics RC Schools - Notre Dame - 26.11.15

A fantastic result for the Year 6 Athletics team. The children had to undertake a series of activities including sprint races, throwing and jumping events as well as an obstacle relay. The children gave everthing they had, cheering and supporting one another and were rewarded with a bronze finish overall. Well done team! (Many thanks to our official Year 6 photographer Sophie Hood!)

Plymouth Cross Country Championships.

A huge congratulations to the Year 5's who represented the school at this year's Cross Country Championships at Staddiscombe. Alan, Josh, Samarth, Bede, Isaac and Rafal ran in the Minor Schools Y5/6 boys race with Alan finishing strongly to bring the team home. In the girls race Mae, Shayla, Lara, Isabel, Cate and Freya completed the 1.1 mile circuit with Isabel powering all the way up to the finish line. Well done to all our runners!
