Thank you to Philip Medway from Plymouth Univesity for leading our science assembly. We had great fun with the experiments! It was brilliant to hear, "It's not magic: it's science!" We know that scientists don't all wear white lab and that we are all scientists if we are asking questions such as:

Fizz Pop Science Assembly
We had so much fun with AstroAlice from Fizz Pop Science. Mixed with fun and laughter, the children learned about friction and how it can be useful. We especially loved watching Mrs King be hovered along the hall floor! Enjoy our photos below. 

Olympian Jade Faulkner's Assembly
We were so lucky during Healthy Week as Jade Faulker, who participated in the London 2012 Olympic games, lead an assembly to the whole school. She demonstrated some of her rhythmic gymnastic moves and told us her experiences of training and working hard to achieve a goal. She definitely inspired us!
